Description

Our client have an opening for an experienced Asset Integrity Engineer to join their organisation in Lanarkshire.

This a great opportunity to join an industry leader who provide solutions for the oil and gas industry.

Key Objectives:

Act as Focal point to customers.
Co-ordinate the support functions between various internal departments and provide up to date response to the customer.
Support and develop technical support.
Ensuring that Services continue to liaise with the Process Technology department to ensure that the criteria for plant performance are met.
Full process knowledge of plant essential to fully Support the entire water injection system. Knowledge essential in automated systems, Rotating equipment, coarse filtration, cartridge Filtration, HP Pump.
Promote strong safety awareness, relating to offshore operations..

Main Duties:

Provide operational & technical outputs assets system, which shall include but not limited to:
Production and submission of performance reports
Daily remote monitoring of the asset
Logging technical Queries and conclusions
Engaging with the customers operational teams to review performance and look ahead
Benchmark reviews by customer
Establish best practices across all sites and capture sales potential sales opportunities for engineering enhancements on offshore systems.
Develop & maintain operational related procedures on a bespoke basis for each asset
Provide and maintain technical support for advancement or development processes on an internal basis.
Participate in customer meetings and sales support when necessary
Participate in offshore visits periodically
Troubleshooting of plant operational problems
Report on any views or recommendations.
Prepare and present Customer and Internal staff training
Development of integrity strategies and procedures
Incident, fault audits & investigations identifying root cause problems
Undertaking other duties that may be required from time to time.

Skills Set

Process, Mechanical, Chemical and/or Control and Instrumentation Engineering Background
Preferably degree qualified in above disciplines
Offshore Work Certification and Training
Knowledge of the oil and gas market
Knowledge of OSIsoft PI systems is preferable
