The VP, Enterprise Marketing and Brand is responsible for leading our Brand Strategy, Creative Services and Digital Marketing teams and driving the overarching Cardinal Health brand strategy both domestically and globally. This leader will focus on evolving the perception of Cardinal Health in the market and scaling our digital marketing programs to increase awareness and consideration of our products and services and lead a full, in-house team of creatives, digital marketers and brand strategists to efficiently move our objectives forward.



Additionally, the leader is accountable for our enterprise thought leadership program leveraging content marketing to engage our target audiences with content that is timely and relevant in healthcare. Also responsible for our enterprise media relationships and digital agency partners that have helped reduce our cost per lead while increasing qualified traffic and engagement.



Position Description



Responsibilities



- Lead all aspects of long-term strategic planning and direct day-to-day execution of the groups annual operating plans aligned to company goals

- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, capabilities, road map and programs across Cardinal Health that can include a variety of digital marketing touch points such as search marketing, content management, email marketing and end-user experience

- Responsible for internal and external digital touch points such as SEM, SEO, email, social marketing and internal and external website operations

- Maintain and expand our digital brand guidelines and online user experience

- Provide leadership and consultative support for the design, development and implementation of product, services and solutions branding strategies

- Develop and lead long term enterprise brand strategy to increase the perception and awareness of Cardinal Health in the market

- Ensure Cardinal Health branded web properties meet the companys strategic and tactical business needs, client and business stakeholder needs, and fit well with the platform or product for which they are built

- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with business unit marketing and sales teams. Lead an in-house team of brand strategists, digital marketers, and creatives by providing direction, career development, and mentorship

- Develop overall strategy for Cardinal Healths Masterbrand and architecture for Cardinal Healths portfolio of brands

- Ensure Cardinal Healths brand strategy aligns with our corporate strategy and supports our business objectives Ensure consistency in branding and storytelling across internal and external marketing activities

- Create and/or distribute engaging content for audiences across multiple media and platforms

- Lead direct reports with responsibility for marketing shared services in the fields of digital marketing and creative services

- Maintain strong channels for engaging customers and prospects, such as ****************** and various social media platforms

- Partner with the business units to develop integrated marketing campaigns that incorporate full-funnel strategy and execution and a content strategy that leverages social platforms and operationalizes paid social

- Partner with the business units to build audiences to which all segments of the enterprise have access, using CRM to standardize audiences across the business



Capabilities



- Full stack marketer preferred

- Must have a strong digital / performance marketing background, including working martech knowledge that includes workflow and content management tools, CRM, social media platforms, and marketing automation systems

- Data-driven marketer who leverages industry intelligence, data and analytics to drive marketing insights

- Highly collaborative with leaders in other business units and functional areas

- Track record of leading organizations achieve results in complex business environments across a variety of stages of growth

- Approves significant policies and procedures that will result in the achievement of organizational goals

- Develops and implements functional and/or operational strategy

- Interacts with all levels of internal and/or external leaders

- Influences senior level leaders regarding matters of significance

- Talent development mindset with a track record of developing a diverse pipeline of successful leaders

- Demonstrated enterprise mindset, with ability to influence and collaborate in a global, matrixed environment to achieve business objectives

- Manages an organizational budget



Qualifications



- Bachelors and Advanced degree in related field, or equivalent work experience

- 15+ years experience in related field
