In this Technical Author role you will transfer knowledge of our equipment and how it works to our customers so that they can enjoy the benefits of our quality products without delay or hiccups.

Working hours:

Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 Friday 08:00-13:30

Responsibilities of our Technical Author will include:

- Develop and control customer documentation relating to equipment deliveries.

- Plan, research and develop all necessary content relating to Installation, Commissioning, Use and Maintenance of our equipment.

- Convey technical ideas, concepts and procedures in clear, concise and accurate English that is easily absorbed by the target users.

- Source and manage translations.

- Develop and control a managed, modular documentation process to efficiently and effectively reuse information for various target audiences (internally and externally).

- Manage a standard library of product manuals.

- Review technical documents, suggesting improvements and implementing agreed changes.

Skills and experience required by our Technical Author:

- Strong technical writing experience in an engineering environment that will provide evidence of good authoring skills.

- Familiarity with manufacturing delivery environments and associated processes and terminology.

- Proven experience in preparation and publishing large documents using Adobe applications: InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat.

- Candidates must be familiar with 2D & 3D CAD systems.
