We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our team in our Altens workshop.

Position

* Strip down, Inspection and Reassembly of Heat Exchangers.

* Knowledge of Shell, Tube, and Plate Heat Exchangers, Motor Coolers, Fin Fans and Radiators[FB1] [KE2] .

* Undertake Hydrotesting.

* Flange Management – Manual and Hydraulic Torquing and Tension.

* Tube Expansion and Plugging.

* General Mechanical/Pipe Fitting Duties.

Experience

* Experience and knowledge of repairing all types of Heat Exchangers preferred.

* Mechanical Fitting/Maintenance background.

* Experience of major petrochemical/refinery shutdowns.

* Ability to read engineering drawings.

* Willingness to work both onshore & offshore as and when required.

Desirable

* Experience of working on COMAH Tier 1 sites/Offshore Installations preferred.

* TMJ 10, 18 and 19 certifications.

* ECITB – CCNSG Safety Passport or IOSH Working Safely.

* Offshore certification.

* Recognised HSE qualification / IOSH
