Job Description Summary


Accountable for driving business of the IV Line Access (IVA) portfolio

globally with a specific focus on refining and evolving current market

access strategy and expanding reach through strategic partnerships

internally and externally. Lead high-impact projects supporting a

$270M global portfolio including successful entry into a new category,

integration in BDX solution development, management of competitive

contract relationships, international registration priorities, and the

development of a Global Market Atlas Portal and toolkit.

Job Description



* Work collaboratively with regional marketing teams to develop and

implement strategic launch plans for a new category of technology

with double digit growth expectations including financial/budget

expectations, pricing recommendations, positioning, segmenting,

evidence needs and optimal portfolio configurations

* Ensure full integration and strategic alignment into all BDX

solution development teams to ensure appropriate emphasis exists

on the IVA portfolio

* Provide leadership to regional teams transitioning out of

historical competitive contracts to ensure a detailed plan is

developed and executed

* Develop IVA toolkit for successful entry and sustainability in key


* Monitor market trends, competitive activity, evidence and

guideline changes; creating proactive strategies to drive a

positive impact

* Act as IVA lead in all x-BU innovation projects including

potential external opportunities

* Strategically manage and prioritize new registration requests from

regional partners; ensuring alignment to global strategy

* Create and manage the Global Market Atlas Portal for the IVA

business to ensure consistent communication of evidence and

messaging across the IVA portfolio

* Demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs and clinical

application in the IVA space

* Regularly gather and integrate customer insights and market needs

to advance overarching business objectives

* Liaise with third party suppliers and vendors as required

* Display credibility by demonstrating subject matter expertise to

diverse audiences (R&D, manufacturing, sales, regulatory, legal)

to build confidence and motivate successful execution


* Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business, or Technical Discipline


* Five or more years of experience in marketing or business

development required

* Medical device industry experience a plus

* Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills

* Ability to work independently and with others in a fast-paced,

results oriented environment

* 25%+ global travel required
