An opportunity has arisen to work as an SEN Teaching Assistant in one of our outstanding SEN schools based in Lewisham.


* Working within a group of 6-10

* Supporting students 1-2-1 and within a group environment

* Working along with professionals including occupational therapists & speech and language therapists

* Assisting students with personal care


* experience working with students with special educational needs

* Strong personality

* Available 5 days a week

* Strong behaviour management skills

* Willing to provide personal care assistance

* Dedicated & Resilient

* Hold SEN CPD training but not essential

Ideally, the candidate will have a nursing or social care background with a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs, particularly PMLD, SLD and ASD.

The School:

The school is an SEN school working with students aged 11-16 in the Lewisham area. The school specialise in providing education for students who have profound, severe and complex additional needs, many come with a diagnosed autistic spectrum disorder and all have a Statement of Special Educational Need or an Education Health & Care plan.
