The Recruiting Manager is responsible for ensuring our company attracts, hires and retains top talent. You will have a very deep knowledge and experience in knowing how to accurately identify ideal candidates through advanced screening and interviewing techniques. You will have extensive experience hiring for higher level positions and ideally you will have past experience managing people that you hired. You will have a thorough understanding of the importance of a documented complete hiring process along with a track record of either creating documented full hiring processes, or improving weak hiring processes. A successful Recruiting Manager will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Any general HR background in benefits or compliance is a plus. This position reports directly to the President.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:



* Responsible for overall recruiting strategy.

* Evaluates and chooses job advertising options. Implements new sourcing methods (e.g. databases, social media recruiting, etc.)

* Recruits, screens, and interviews candidates for mid to high level job openings.

* Assesses candidate talent (relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes) and makes recommendations to managers, and in some cases makes the hire.

* Trains managers on recruiting management system and interviewing techniques

* Handles the creation of offer letters.

* Coordination of new hire orientation and onboarding.

* Completing industry wage surveys.

* Review recruitment software and suggests improvements or new options for company needs

* Performs other duties as assigned by management.



QUALIFICATIONS



* 8+ years of recruiting/talent acquisition management experience

* Enjoys meeting and building positive relationships with a broad variety of people of varying educational, economic, and cultural backgrounds.

* Ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively with people and teams throughout the organization.

* Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and software.

* Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (i.e., structured, competency based, etc.)

* Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, etc.)

* Familiarity with HR databases and applicant tracking systems.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Strong decision making skills.

* Has the ability to work independently and provide timely follow-up.

* Has the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads daily and is able to navigate successfully during periods of change.
