A vacancy has arisen within the marketing department for a Product Information Coordinator to produce instruction documents and provide technical support.
As a Product Information Coordinator, you will provide information and answers to queries by telephone and email, from customers and staff. You will also be responsible for producing installation documents, and maintaining a library of technical information.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
• Produce installation manuals and bulletins for use by customers and third party contractors
• Assist with producing storyboards for instructional videos
• Answer calls to the Technical Helpline
• Answer queries by email to the Technical Helpline email address
• Liaise with Product Development, Marketing, and Training, for answers to queries
• Maintain a library of technical information and produce new documents as required
• Keep up to date with all new product developments
• Other duties as may arise at the request of the Training Manager
You will have:
• Good knowledge of brands and products (full training will be given)
• Good working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, Autocad, and Microsoft Publisher
• Experience of using InDesign and Illustrator would be an advantage
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent time keeping and time management skills
• Proven organisational and administration skills
• Experience of designing or installing fitted furniture would be an advantage
You must be:
• Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels, in a friendly manner.
• Able to work under pressure and maintain deadlines.
• Self-motivated and willing to work as part of a dynamic team.
• Have excellent organisational, written and numerical skills
