Job Title: Mechanical Fitter / Technician

Salary: £35,000 per annum + Overtime, Pension, Training & Development

Location: Bedford

As our ideal Mechanical Fitter/Technician, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar manufacturing environment helping towards the increase of OEE whilst reducing plant down time.

Responsibilities Include:

* Responds to plant breakdowns- ensuring it is returned to production in timely manner

* Completion of planned preventative maintenance activities and

· Ensure Safety related documentation (Risk Assessments/Permits to work etc) for all scheduled maintenance work is up to date and available

· Contribute to plant continuous improvement

Essential Experience Required:

* Qualified welder

* Previous experience in a mechanical fitter / technician role

* Good team player

* Met KPI’s

Desirable Experience:

* Level 4 Mechanical Engineer qualified

* Installation of new machinery

* Electrical knowledge
