provider, across a range of sectors including Health and Social Care, Childcare, Education and
Business, delivering apprenticeships and adult education, as a centre with ILM, NCFE, CMI and OCR.
Success continues, and as the company is set for significant growth, we require an exceptional
Training and Quality Manager to join the Delivery Team.
 Location: Surrey, with frequent Travel
 Salary: Negotiable + package, depending on experience and potential
 Annual Leave: 25 Days, increasing to 26 after 5 years’ service, 28 after 10 years.
An amazing opportunity is open for a dynamic, driven, team player that’s looking to take an active
role in ensuring quality standards and kite marks are maintained and improved within delivery and
to be accountable for the organisations Self-Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Plan. To
oversee Internal Quality Assurers to ensure quality and consistency of quality assurance as well as
assessment across qualifications within all sectors.
To oversee all elements of a department and assume line management responsibilities for
Programme Managers across Heath and Social Care, Childcare, Education, Business and Functional
Skill initially with a vision to grow and expand the provision.
As a Training and Quality Manager you will be required to carry out the following duties in the
context of the PTS policies and practices, particularly Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety and
Data Protection, and those of any host organisations, including informing learners of their
 Responsible for planning, managing, delivering and evaluating programmes.
 Managing and Supporting the development and improvement of programmes
 Conduct robust self-assessment and lead the implementation of the quality improvement
 Maintain delivery staff and learners’ interests in the subject.
 Promote and monitor high standards of attainment, success rates, progress and outcomes.
 To monitor and analyse data, surveys, feedback and make changes as required.
 To own the Audit process and to ensure compliance in meeting funding requirements
 Sample and monitor the work of IQAs according to the centre strategy.
 To lead the recruiting of staff, freelance specialists and sub-contractors as required ensuring
delivery of your curriculum areas.
 Conduct robust self-assessment and lead the implementation of the quality improvement

 To be the designated safeguarding and Prevent Lead and educate others within the
 Identifying training requirements for assessors and learners.
 Maintain strong working relationships with External Quality Assurers and other professionals
as required.
 Ensure Equal Opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice is upheld in the assessment
process and issues are addressed.
 To conduct other duties as requested to meet the needs of the business
 Relevant vocational qualification at level 3 or above
 A teaching qualification at level 4 or above, PGCE, DTTLS.
 Assessment and Internal Verification / Quality Assurance Qualification; A1, CAVA, V1, IQA
 Ability to demonstrate equal opportunities in practice.
 Proven track record and or experience and relevant up to date knowledge of occupational
 Knowledge and understanding of Legislative and Qualification requirements.
