We are recruiting for a busy and varied role which is a mix of grounds maintenance and machine maintenance, specifically with agricultural machinery.

This is a full time permanent role with a fantastic employer in the Lancing area. You’ll be working in the grounds maintenance team and supporting the workshop manager in the day to day management of the grounds and agricultural machinery and equipment.

The role involves:

* All aspects of servicing, repairs and maintenance of the grounds department machinery

* Administration in relation to the work carried out to ensure records are kept up to date

* Adhering to strict health and safety standards

* Assisting with other grounds and machine maintenance duties as needed

You will need to have experience in grounds and machine maintenance and will need to hold the Agricultural engineering technician level 2 certification or equivalent. You’ll also need N.P.T.C. PA1 certificate in pesticide usage and be qualified in the use of industrial/rough terrain truck operation ideally.

The role is full time, 40 hours a week and may on occasion include evening and weekend work. The salary is up to £25k dependent on experience and qualifications.

Please note: Candidates will need to be willing to undertake a basic DBS / criminal background check if successfully selected.
