Our client is a major manufacturer of plastic products with numerous sites across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Development Engineer for their injection moulding operation in Rutland.

Reporting to the Development Manager, your role will be to manage and assist in development and engineering projects at their site and to provide second line support to the Engineering team to ensure maximum efficient output of quality products.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

* Identify opportunities for improvements across the operation and make recommendations to improve machine and process effectiveness.

* Assist in managing engineering projects from inception through to completion.

Who would suit this role?

We are looking for someone who is ideally a Time served Engineer with an Electrical Bias with a sound working knowledge of PLC’s and Servo Drive systems. You should also have the ability to troubleshoot Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
