Start Date: January 2025
Salary: £95 - £100 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? A supportive primary school in Castle Donington is looking for an exceptional SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in January 2025. Youll be based in a year 5 class on a full time bases. This is a temp to perm contract.

About the Role:
You'll be working 1:1 with a pupil with additional needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive in the classroom. This role is perfect for someone who is empathetic, patient, and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 support tailored to the child's specific needs.
Collaborate with teachers, SENDCOs, and therapists to implement and adapt support strategies.
Assist with personal care and promote independence where needed.
Engage the pupil in classroom activities and encourage social interactions.
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to staff and parents.What We're Looking For:

Previous experience supporting children with SEND (desirable).
A calm, nurturing approach with excellent communication skills.
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
