We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cover Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity for fresh graduates or aspiring teachers looking to gain valuable experience in the classroom and develop their teaching career.

Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers. You will ensure students remain on task with their work, manage behaviour in line with the school's policies, and provide support where necessary. This role offers hands-on experience for those looking to pursue a career in education, offering a unique insight into classroom management and teaching strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise students in the absence of the class teacher.
Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure that students are engaged and on-task.
Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
Support individual students who may require additional assistance.
Provide feedback to the teaching staff regarding the progress of the lessons.
Uphold and promote the school’s ethos and values.
Requirements:

Recent graduate or aspiring teacher.
A passion for education and working with young people.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a classroom effectively and ensure students remain focused.
Flexibility, patience, and a proactive approach to challenges.
No prior teaching experience required, but a desire to pursue a teaching career is highly desirable.
