MEICA Commissioning Engineer
Lead water contractor is operating on a major AMP 7 & 8 water framework for clean water and wastewater major projects.
You will carry out day-to-day on-site commissioning activities for various projects across the Southern Water region.
You will report directly to the Commissioning Manager and the responsibilities will include:
* Carry out day-to-day management, coordination, and delivery of on-site commissioning activities.
* Produce regular project reports and Commissioning Completion Reports on nominated projects.
* Ensure all necessary Commissioning documentation is produced in a timely manner and co-operate with Technical Documentation teams to ensure timely delivery of O&M manuals.
* Ensure the effective integration of assets into the existing works without detriment and risk to service level agreements.
* Manage and complete off-site testing and pre-commissioning activities by suppliers or others.
Water industry project experience preferred
• Previous demonstrable experience in a similar MEICA commissioning role.
• MEICA/civil works multi-disciplined interfacing
• Computer literate, particularly with MS Office applications is essential
• CITB (SMSTS) and/or CSCS qualified for managing safely
• Ability to work to target dates across multiple projects, whilst maintaining output and timescale requirements
• Hold a valid full UK driving license
• Eligible to work in the UK
