Description

Deliver UK are a freight forwarder providing road transport services to UK based clients. We are looking for a Transport Consultant to join our expanding team, to manage the growing portfolio of customers.

The role will mainly focus on service delivery to our client base, however there will be an element of sales building new relationships with potential clients.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with new and existing customers
Ensure logistics partners are performing against SLA’s
Actively track collections and deliveries to ensure on time and solve any problems that may arise.
Comparing/negotiate haulage quotes to keep with in client budgets.
Seek out new customers to continue building the customer base.
Provide quotations for transport enquiries.
On call rota
The right candidate

Previous transport industry experience is a bonus but not essential (full training provided)
Good geographical knowledge of the UK
Ability to work in a fast-paced & pressured environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent customer service skills
Problem solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
