The Role:

Carrying out month-end tasks including:

Reviewing the P&L account and investigating variances to budgets/expected balances
Reviewing the balance sheet to ensure control accounts are correctly reconciled
Entering month end journals for prepayments, accruals, work in progress and deferred income

Running monthly management reports to include financial statements and other required schedules e.g., headcount, capital expenditure, inventory levels
Producing cost centre reports and consolidated group accounts, where appropriate
Updating forecast models with month end actual data
Assisting with annual budgeting
