About the Development Technologist job
The purpose of your role will be to contribute to refining and evaluating recipes, ensuring consistent methods and accurate yield data to maintain excellence.
Key tasks
Lead the development and innovation of new products and processes, managing projects from concept to launch.
Design products based on business and customer requirements, ensuring accurate costing of materials and processes.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity to inform product development and business strategies.
Plan, organise resources, and ensure timely delivery of trials and projects while maintaining high food safety and quality standards.
About You
Hold a degree in food science or have a strong background in food technology.
Knowledge of process mapping for food product development.
Proven experience in data analysis and interpretation.
Proficient in Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills.

The Development Technologist job (ref:8810) is based in Colchester, Essex and is paying £26,000 - £30,000 according to your experience. The role is a 9 month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.
The working hours are Monday to Friday.
The site is based in Essex and is commutable from Manningtree, Halstead, Ipswich, Harwich, Clacton on Sea, Tiptree, Braintree, Witham Sudbury, Hadleigh, (Suffolk and Essex).
