Corporate Solicitor
Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: £60-85k

National corporate team of a highly ranked law firm provides a comprehensive range of legal services, focusing on corporate transactional work such as mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs and buy-ins, and trade sales and disposals. We represent private equity funds, fund managers, and investee companies, handling company reorganisations, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, investment agreements, and corporate governance.

Role Overview: Recruiting Corporate Solicitors with 6+ years PQE to join Corporate teams in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage your workload of corporate transactional and company law advisory work.

* Assist other solicitors, support lead advisers in transactions, and supervise junior solicitors.

* Draft, review, and negotiate transactional and corporate documents.

* Advise clients on various corporate law matters.

* Participate in business development and attend client meetings.

* Train, supervise, and develop junior team members.

* Meet financial and chargeable targets and adhere to deadlines and quality measures.

About You:

* Corporate Solicitor with 6+ years PQE.

* Proven experience in private M&A transactions.

* High commercial awareness, attention to detail, and strong drafting skills.

* Self-motivated, with excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills.

* Able to work independently and as part of a team.

* Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
