Job Title: Yard Operative (Counterbalance driver)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
Location: Belfast, Ireland
Pay: up to £31,000 per annum

Job description:
Our Client a Waste management company in the UK are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Yard Operative to join a friendly team at a customer site in Belfast. In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing and processing waste materials in the form of cardboard efficiently, ensuring compliance with waste management standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Forklift Driver with a keen eye for detail.
The Role:
·Operate and maintain baling equipment, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
·Book waste collections and manage scheduling to ensure timely pickups.
·Complete and maintain accurate documentation for all waste collections, including labelling and transport forms.
·Adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring a clean and safe working environment at all times.
·Support the wider waste management operations as needed.

The successful candidate will:
·Essential: B1Counterbalance Forklift Licence
·Experience in waste management or recycling roles (preferred)
·Familiarity with baling machines and other waste processing equipment
·Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
·A proactive, can-do attitude
