HGV Driver Trainer

Due to a fantastic period of growth this Heavy Haulage company are recruiting an HGV Driver Trainer to join the team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a friendly team, where you will help to modernise the current processes and take ownership of a newly formed role.

You will have the chance to really make a difference, implement new processes and be hands on in making a positive change within the company.

As an HGV Driver Trainer, you will be responsible for:

* Designing, developing and delivering customised training packages.

* Supporting, defining and implementing Health and Safety Procedures.

* Assisting with the assessments and induction process of new drivers.

* Reviewing and evaluating drivers’ performances.

* Keeping training records up to date according to standards and legislations.

* Supporting with investigations.

* Liaising with internal team members and outside professionals.

You will have the following experience:

* Qualifications to support the delivery of training.

* A good knowledge of Health & Safety legislations.

* Previous experience of implementing driver training in the transport industry.

* Great written and verbal communication skills.

* Good presentation skills and IT skills/Microsoft Office knowledge.

* Full Driving licence.

* The ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.

Salary:

£35,000 to £50,000 – negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
