Job Description Summary


Reporting to the Director of Management Controls the Senior Manager

Management Controls, is responsible for measuring and reporting

quality performance for BDX. The Senior Manager, Management Controls

is responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to

efficiently capture data and perform analytics on Quality Metrics. The

Senior Manager, Management Controls is responsible for the Management

Review process including owning Executive Management Review. Through

outstanding communication; effective problem solving and active

management of ambiguous situations; Senior Manager, Management

Controls ensures that initiatives are executed and completed


Job Description


* Responsible for developing Executive Management Review including

the data and information for the harmonized process for CQRB and

Board of Directors Reporting

* Own the process for Management Review for BDX

* Develop and implement Quality Data Analytics strategy

* Streamline and standardize data collection channels across BDX

* Support Quality Process owners in the development of dashboards

and data collection

* Manage the metrics team responsible for creating dashboards

* Interface with corporate IT teams to ensure dashboard and system


Additional Responsibilities:

* Understand the current reporting mechanisms and partner with key

representatives to identify the improvements and implement

streamlined processes for BDX

* Proactively engage and communicate with Quality Leadership and

Cross Functional Leadership on issues

* Continuously improve the management review process working

collaboratively with the Management Review Network

* Build strong relationships and partner with business leaders,

Regions, Functional and Technical Stakeholders to build trust and

influence at multiple levels within the organization. Respond

effectively in a dynamic environment.

* Work across business units, regions, and functions to deliver key

Quality projects

Typically requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in science,

engineering or other relevant discipline with a minimum of 6 years

with relevant experience.

Qualifications, Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

* Knowledge of Quality Processes including Quality Systems, Design,

Manufacturing and Distribution Quality

* Understanding of Quality Data and experience in Quality Data


* Demonstrated end-to-end business process thinking; knowledge of

present or as is processes and ability to lead improvements that

will constitute a desired future state

* Understanding of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and GAMP 5

* Customer centric focus and global orientation

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Experience working within a complex virtual team environment and

leading project activities

* Experience in projects accountable for leading change

* Demonstrated understanding of change management and the tools used

to effectively embed change in the organization)


* Ability to lead teams and drive for results

* Ability to successfully interface with all levels of the


* Strong business acumen

* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to

influence outcomes and gain team member and stakeholder buy in

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, listening and

interpersonal skills

* Knowledge of Project Management principles and methodology

(including Agile framework)
