Workshop Supervisor

* Would suit a proven Workshop Supervisor who comes from an Assembly / Machine Tool Fitter background.

Are you a Workshop Supervisor or a Production Supervisor / Manufacturing Team Leader seeking a new challenge within an award winning manufacturer? Join a market leader, based near the Warwick area, who manufacture bespoke automation machinery used in a range of sectors. They are passionate and dynamic, leading the drive for cutting edge technology within their market. This business has developed a culture that prides itself in being friendly, ambitious and boasting good length of tenure throughout the team. As Workshop Manager, you will play an integral part in managing the assembly process of these machines. Leading a team of 7, you will have the resources to ensure you have the freedom to make a real impact.

Salary & Benefits:

* c£55,000 basic + multiple additional bonuses.

* 36 days annual leave (including bank holidays) + the opportunity to purchase an additional 5 days.

* 7.5% pension.

* WFH / Work From Home flexibility, in addition to flexible working hours.

* Additional overtime is paid.

The Workshop Supervisor job would suit:

* Hands-on experience with mechanical fitting / assembly of machine components.

* Team leadership experience in a similar role within manufacturing.

* Specific experience within the automation sector would be a bonus, but not essential for the right person.

* Someone who looks to improve a process and has a continuous improvement mindset.

* SME ‘doer’ mentality – whilst it’s an international manufacturing business, this is an agile, growing and highly profitable SME.

* Apprentice trained in mechanical engineering.

The Workshop Supervisor job involves:

* Plan and manage the workload of technicians, to ensure that projects are completed on time and to budget.

* Allocation and management of workshop areas and resources.

* Establish and manage the inspection/finishing processes of machined components.

* Responsible for calibration of equipment and instrumentation.

* Implementation and improvement of workshop working practices and SOPs.
