HEAD OF FINANCE | £20M FMCG/MANUFACTURING – MANCHESTER 4 DAYS ONSITE

THE CLIENT WILL ONLY CONSIDER PEOPLE ALREADY BASED IN NW, UK

We are working with a Manchester-based FMCG Manufacturer who is going through a period of change and has an urgent need for an experienced Head of Finance with a proven track record in FMCG or manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will bring deep sector-specific expertise and a strategic approach to financial management.

Role Highlights:

As Head of Finance, you will lead a team of six, driving financial strategy, reporting, and operational excellence. Critical to this role is successful experience managing ERP systems and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

The role demands a hands-on financial leader who can review and improve financial processes, provide strategic insights, and support business growth. You will be responsible for comprehensive financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Experience of being involved in raising external funding would also be advantageous.

Requirements:

* Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)

* Minimum 5-7 years of leadership experience in FMCG or manufacturing finance

* Proven ERP expertise, ideally SAP B1

* Advanced financial modelling capabilities

Candidate Profile:

We require a proactive, innovative financial leader with exceptional communication skills and a demonstrable ability to drive complex business transformations. Your background must demonstrate success in fast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing or consumer goods environments. You will be reporting to a very experienced CEO, who needs reliable financial information and input from this role.

Compensation:

* £80-90k Base

* Bonus

* 25 days holiday

* Pension

* Participation in EMI Scheme.
