Rumbling/Anodising finishing Operative******************

A great opportunity has arisen within the rumbling and anodising department.

This could be an exciting opportunity to start a fresh career in 2025, working for a global market leader within the aerospace/military sector.

If you have experience in both rumbling and anodising and wish to hone your skills this is definitely the place to do it.

Key tasks include

Operate barrel tumbling and vibratory finishing equipment.
Prepare metallic surfaces for anodising.
Mask holes, slots and bores to ensure they are free from abrasive material before entering the machinery.
Operate anodising equipment
Inspection of parts.
Packing of parts for transport and storage.
Interpreting part numbers
This role involves working with caustic chemicals which are potentially hazardous so strict adherence to health and safety policies is essential. Ideally you will be COSHH trained.

There are two rotating shifts, one being 7am to 2pm and the other is 1.45pm to 10pm

Salary is from £27,300-£28,350 with an additional uplift for unsociable hours.
