Senior Quantity Surveyor – North West- £60,000 - £65,000 & £6,000 Car Allowance

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a regional house builder based near Altrincham. The requirement is for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who  extensive experience of new build housing projects.

Projects are located throughout the North West and will be a mix of traditional and timber frame. You will be expected to manage between 4 – 5 sites simultaneously and visit each site once per week. You will manage your own diary and some hybrid working available.

Ensuring project costings are met
Ensuring compliance with the project requirements
Agreeing variations
Processes claims and payments
Producing and managing costing reports
Considering the Environmental Assessment Methods requirements when choosing suppliers and agreeing products/materials costs
Review, prepare and issue Forecast Final Account (Cost Report)
Prepare, submit final account on completion of worksSenior Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements

Over 7 years' working as a QS within the UK construction industry
Proven experience of delivering restoration projects
Experience of working on listed buildings at QS level
A-Level, HND, NVQ or Degree level qualified
Excellent mathematical skills
Good organisational and administrative skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook
