Description

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Plumber / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to cover PPM and reactive maintenance on a prestigious facility in the Ribble Valley area. The maintenance engineer will be responsible for general repairs and upkeep to plumbing, pipework, water systems, AHU's, fan coil units, pumps and mechanical plant room plus compliance checks and general fabric upkeep. This is a permanent role paying up to 42.5k basic plus OT, Circa 40 hours per week. Flexible start and finish times. Call out TBC. Parking on site. Site vehicle for larger jobs.

Maintenance Plumber / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Completing reactive repairs, planned maintenance and small works projects.
Hot and cold water feeds
Pumps and valves - plant room
Heating, radiators etc.
Leak repairs
AHU & Fan coil units
Pressure systems
Drainage
Fabric maintenance duties – basic joinery, painting etc.
L8 prevention, tamp temps and thermostatic mixer valves (TMV)
Plus other associated tasks

Plumber Requirements:
To have Mechanical Engineering qualifications or a qualified Plumber
Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills.
It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a “Can do” customer attitude at all times.
Ability and desire to complete general fabric maintenance tasks
Knowledge of Building services (water, heating, ventilation, plant room)
Be prepared to undertake training as required by the post and the contract manager.
Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner, adhering to relevant guidelines and bulletins.
