Job Title: Transport Planner/Coordinator
Location: Holt
Salary: Up to £30,000
Hours: Monday to Friday
*Please note that this vacancy does not offer sponsorship or able to accept candidates on PSW Visa*
Reporting into the Transport Planners this role will see you:
• Plan, support, and coordinate day1/day2 transport movements. E2E supply chain
• Populate scheduling and “live” booking and tracker systems
• Scheduling of; Export, inter-site movements, packaging materials, stock & retail orders, B2B and foodservice deliveries
• Continual communication with; drivers, internal stakeholders & customers to update to lead times, run sheets and plans etc
To be considered for this opportunity you could be a recent graduate with supply chain knowledge or looking to step up from administrator or coordinator, my client is looking for someone who is willing to learn but brings logistics/supply chain understanding. You will also need.
• Advanced Excel and IT savvy
• Strong analytical skills with good knowledge of geographical locations
• Ideally from a multiple site or 3PL logistics operation
• Excellent communication skills and able to work in a calm fashion in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
