Job Title: Network Engineer - CISCO

Location: Hybrid (Aberdeen, Scotland)

Job Type: Contract (3 months)

Rate: Neg (Inside IR35)

Job Summary: We are looking for a Cisco networking engineer with Palo Alto firewalls - mostly BAU work for 3 months. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cisco Networking, Cisco Wireless, and Palo Alto firewall technologies. This role involves performing Business As Usual (BAU) activities and requires the candidate to be onsite occasionally (once a week).

Key Responsibilities:

Perform BAU networking activities, ensuring the smooth operation of network infrastructure.
Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Networking and Cisco Wireless systems.
Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewalls.
Collaborate with the IT team to support network-related projects and initiatives.
Ensure network security and compliance with university policies.
Provide technical support and resolve network issues in a timely manner.Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience with Cisco Networking and Cisco Wireless technologies.
Strong knowledge of Palo Alto firewall configuration and management.
Ability to perform BAU networking tasks efficiently.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
