Job Title: CNC Turner
Location: Durham
Salary: £19 - £23ph inc shift allowance
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 2 shifts, 6-2 (Mon-Fri) and 2-11.25 (Mon-Thu)

My client is a leading precision engineering company specialising in the manufacturing of high-quality components for a range of industries, including aerospace and oil & gas. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our dynamic and skilled team.
The Role:
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for producing precision-machined components to the highest standards. You will be expected to set, operate, and program CNC lathes, ensuring all work meets exact specifications and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Set up and operate CNC lathes.
*
Program machines using Fanuc, Haas or Mazatrol.
*
Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce accurate components.
*
Conduct quality checks using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
*
Ensure machines are maintained and operating efficiently.
*
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
*
Work to tight deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
*
Collaborate with the production team to meet customer requirements.
About You:
*
Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a manufacturing environment.
*
Ability to program and set CNC machines (experience with either Fanuc, Haas or Mazatrol is desirable).
*
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
*
Competent in the use of precision measuring equipment.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*
Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality.
