Quality Controller
Castle Donington
Up to £32,000 per annum

We are looking to recruit a Quality Controller with Health & safety responsibilities, into the existing Management team. The small but close-knit management team are moving the business forward with some exciting growth plans and objectives to see them increase their volumes over the next 5 years.
Reporting to the MD and working closely with the Operations Manager and the Procurement Manager, you will be supporting the senior management team in all aspects of QC and managing the H&S onsite for three manufacturing outlets under one roof.
As the Quality Controller you will be responsible for (not limited to):
• Managing the QC, ISO Document Library and the FPC system including but not limited to quality processes, quality objectives, raising quality alerts.
• Carrying out and reporting on internal audits to ISO9001 standards
• Investigating and reporting on any NCR arising from supplier issues, material issues and production issues
• Investigating customer quality issues using root-cause analysis and applying corrective actions
• Resolving quality related issues in a timely manner
Skills and Experience required:
• Strong knowledge, understanding and experience of working to ISO9001/FPC standards
• Internal Auditor Trained
• Previous experience of working within a Quality Assurance / Quality Control / H&S role within a manufacturing environment
• IOSH or NEEBOSH trained
• 5S and/or Lean 6 Sigma understanding
• Being Passionate, caring, loyal, committed, helpful and self-motivated will bring rewards
