Division Overview Hubbell Construction & Energy (HCE) focuses on products to support four business segments: Connectors, Grounding & Tooling, Gas Connectors & Accessories, Harsh & Hazardous, and Distribution. With markets in renewable energy, lighting, transportation, data center, telecom, utility, extreme environment, gas and water distribution, power generation and oil & gas, we guarantee that our products set the standards for industry solutions. Position Overview Individual will manage rework activities and related documentation in a manner consistent with current ISO requirements, safety requirements, and housekeeping requirements. Duties and Responsibilities - Coordinate rework of products. - Verify RGA quantities and correct nine-digit numbers. Also, direct the routing of returned goods and when necessary, assists Quality Engineer by answering customer concerns. - Enter in-process rejections (IPRs) into the system and review corrective action responses. - Issues defective material reports for nonconformances from suppliers (DMRs). Manages follow-up to assure correction action is taken. - Coordinate the collecting and publishing of quality data into a monthly quality report - Understand proper material identification, roving inspections of operations, plating inspection, nonconformities, rework, RGAs, In-process deviations, and First Articles. - Be familiar with the work area including the quality hold area, rework area, and the scrap holding area. - Demonstrate the ability to make the dispositions to move parts to these areas, and the importance of properly documenting all related paperwork. Skills and Experience Language Skills - Good communication skills are key. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Mathematical Skills- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Experience working with consolidations. Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Need to be able to exercise good judgment and decision making skills. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Other Skills and Abilities - Must be detail oriented.
