We are currently seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Lewisham. Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with challenging behaviours.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques.
Foster positive relationships with students to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
Collaborate with teaching staff, leadership, and external agencies to ensure students receive the necessary support.
Help students with their academic work and encourage engagement in learning.
Track student progress and contribute to behavioural reports.The Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with young people displaying challenging behaviours, ideally within a PRU or similar setting.
Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
Passionate about supporting vulnerable students to overcome challenges and succeed.
Calm, patient, and resilient in the face of challenging situations.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
DBS check required.
Relevant training or qualifications in behaviour management (e.g., Team Teach) are desirable.What We Offer:
