Part Time Caretaker

2 days a week

Based in Beaconsfield

Full-time equivalent salary £30,000 (£12,000 for 2 days a week)

Flexibility on days worked

Are you an experienced Plumber, trades person or caretaker looking for a couple of days work a week?

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and proficient Facilities team, within a successful organisation with 3 office sites.

You will be based at their Beaconsfield office, however you will be required to attend to monthly H&S and Fire safety checks at the other two locations, which means you will need to be a driver with your own transport.

Key duties include:

Walking the office boundaries
Checking the car park for obstructions and condition
Checking all fire escape doors, maintaining locks and hinges, keeping pathways clear and minor handy work such as fixing drawers and tightening screws.
Checking carpets for wear and tear and replacing
Checking bulbs and replacing
Checking roof and pantiles missing or damaged
Water temps and flushing
Assist with deliveries and portage
Fire alarm tests
Emergency lighting flick tests
Assisting with office moves
Painting as and when required
Keeping spreadsheets up to date

Person specification:

Any relevant trade qualifications are desirable but not essential
Minimum 2 years experience within a similar role
Competent with basic building repairs
Use of small equipment
Knowledge of health and safety procedures
Literacy and numeracy skills
Ability to carry items
Full driving licence and own car
Confident to drive larger vehicles such as Luton vans as required
Friendly and approachable demeanour
