As an Operational Craft Engineer, what will you be doing?
Equipment Maintenance : Perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure mechanical and electrical reliability

Continuous Improvement : Drive defect handling, machine performance, and efficiency improvements using IWS principles

Team Support : Train, coach, and develop team members and apprentices to enhance engineering skills

Operational Flexibility : Operate manufacturing equipment as required and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Compliance and Reporting : Adhere to safety legislation, maintain high hygiene standards, and report performance metrics effectively

Job requirements
We'd love to hear from you if you can evidence the following knowledge, skills and experience:
Qualifications: City & Guilds Level 3/NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering (essential); HNC and PLC skills (desirable)

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in fault finding, electrical wiring, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and technical report writing

Teamwork and Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to train others, and contribute effectively to team objectives

Adaptability and Initiative: Ability to work flexibly, manage competing priorities, and demonstrate a proactive approach to improvement
