Simon Acres Recruitment are working with a well-regarded high-end bespoke independent showroom based in Kent, who are looking for a Kitchen Designer.

Salary: Paying a basic salary of £27,000, plus uncapped commission.

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5.30pm. Saturday, 9am-5pm (1 in 4 on a rota basis, with a day off in the week).

Location: Sevenoaks / Tunbridge Wells.

The Role:

Full induction and training during the first months to learn the products and software, further training and support will be provided throughout the first six months and on-going. After training, the successful applicant will be expected to take full management of their projects from initial customer enquiry, through the design process to final installation.

• Designing bespoke kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and utility rooms, using CAD software (AutoKitchen).
• Ability to understand the customers brief and turn it into reality, exceeding all expectations.
• Handling all aspects of the design, planning and installation process, including on-site surveys.

Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in designing kitchens.
• Experience with other interior spaces, such as bathrooms, wardrobes etc., preferable but not essential.
• Knowledge of CAD software.
• Strong project management skills, being able to manage multiple projects at one time.
• Passionate about kitchens/designing.
• Must be able to converse with high-net-worth individuals.
• High attention to detail, professional with an excellent sales acumen.
• Providing outstanding customer service.
• Must be personable and able to build strong rapport with clients along with the skill to close a sale.
• Proven track record in kitchen design and able to provide examples of own design work.
• A full driving licence with own car is essential to be able to carry out customer visits.
