Job Title: ICT Teacher
Location: Bacup, Lancashire
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP (subject to notice period)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

The Role
As an ICT Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for technology and helping students develop essential ICT skills. You will have the opportunity to contribute to curriculum development and work with supportive colleagues.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality ICT lessons, ensuring all students are challenged and supported to achieve their potential.
Develop engaging and innovative teaching resources to inspire and motivate students.
Assess, record and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and interventions where necessary.
Contribute to the development of the ICT curriculum and wider school initiatives.
Support the school's ethos and values, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Essential Criteria:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in ICT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
A strong understanding of the ICT curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging lessons to a range of abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
A commitment to promoting high standards of teaching and learning.
Desirable Criteria:

Experience in teaching Computer Science or programming.
Familiarity with modern educational technologies and software.
A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs or STEM initiatives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
