Science Teacher (QTS) - Nottingham

Education Personnel are working with a school in Nottingham who are seeking a dynamic and passionate Science Teacher to join their dedicated team!

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Science lessons to students of all abilities. You will play a crucial role in creating a stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of Science.

Key Responsibilities:

* Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons that align with the National Curriculum.

* Assessing student progress and providing timely and constructive feedback.

* Setting and marking work to a high standard.

* Encouraging and supporting student participation in science activities, experiments, and competitions.

* Maintaining effective relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues.

* Contributing to the wider life of the school.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Strong subject knowledge in science

* Excellent classroom management skills

* A passion for teaching and learning

* The ability to inspire and motivate students

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

* Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4

* Experience with Science practical work

* A track record of raising student attainment
