Maths Teacher (QTS)

Location: Nottingham

Salary: Competitive

Contract: Temp to perm for the right candidate

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a large secondary school in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching Maths and committed to inspiring students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging Maths lessons for a range of abilities.

* Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback.

* Setting and marking homework and assessments.

* Developing innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning.

* Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and support student learning.

* Attending relevant professional development opportunities.

Essential Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* At least 6 months’ teaching experience

* Strong subject knowledge in Maths

* Excellent classroom management skills

* Ability to inspire and motivate students

* Commitment to raising standards

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

* Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4

* Experience with Science practical work

* A track record of raising student attainment
