Are you an experienced Financial Controller? Do you have experience working within the manufacturing sector? I want to talk to you!

I am looking for an experienced Financial Controller on an initial 8-month Fixed Term Contract to join an exciting client of ours who predominantly operate within the Aerospace sector. This position will be responsible for supporting financial reporting, forecasting and decision making and overseeing financial functions.

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am to 4:30pm and Friday: 7:30am to 12:30pm

Job Description

Assist with payroll checks, sales and purchase ledgers, audits, financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.
Deliver timely financial performance reports, including variance analysis and explanations for deviations from targets or trends.
Create and maintain accurate costing records to monitor product and customer profitability, including reviewing system overhead recovery rates.
Support cash flow reporting and governance, including forecast submissions, variance analyses, supplier payment approvals, and overdue debt recovery.
Ensure the business adheres to accounting standards and maintains HMRC and pension compliance.

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

Extensive payroll experience with previous experience in an accounting function.
Manufacturing, AP & AR, Management Accounts experience.
ACA/ACCA/CIMA graduate qualified
