Warehouse Operative (Pivot Steer Lift Operator)

We are recruiting for our client based over in Basildon looking for a Pivot Steer Lift Operative. For this role you will need the following skills and attributions:

•   Pivot steer lift ability essential

•   Picking goods in, goods out, preparation and relocation of products, wrapping customer orders to expected standards

•   Ensuring paperwork is completed in a legible correct and acceptable condition

•   Disposal of all aspects of waste into correct on-site recycling facilities.

•   Cover any loading/unloading requirements.

•   General upkeep of site and facilities.

•   At all times, following safety guidelines and reporting systems.

•   Basic IT skills and literacy

•   Show respect and decency to management fellow colleagues and site visitors.

•   Follow a “clean as you” go policy.

•   Relevant training will be given to acceptable applicant.

•   Flexibility required, possible overtime on occasion yearly holiday entitlement.

•   Attend work in a timely manner, wearing correct uniform.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Days: 40 hours a week on rotation shift covering 7am-4pm & 8am-5pm

Area: Basildon, Essex

Salary: Starting at £27,000 PA raising to £30,000 after 6 months’ probation
