ROLE- Test Technician  

LOCATION- Buckinghamshire  

TERM- Permanent  

SALARY- £30,000-£38,000 per annum, depending on experience   

My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for a Test Technician join their team in Buckinghamshire on a permanent basis.   

The Test Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
Experienced in a technical and hands-on Engineering position 
Knowledge of compliance and testing 
A background in Manufacture
Excellent attention to detail
Able to read engineering drawings and BOMs
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Proficient using MS Office
Excellent organisational skills and time management skills
Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team 
The Test Technician role will involve:
Mechanical testing and manufacture of a variety of components and equipment 
Developing new and existing products 
Handling compliance and test specifications 
Working to procedures and instructions
Assisting the quality team with functional and visual inspection
Working to procedures and compliance standards
Testing, fault-finding and repair
Using CAD to produce technical drawings, reading, annotating, creating jigs, fixtures, and testing apparatus
Working both independently and in a team
Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
