SELF EMPLOYED VAN DRIVER

Menzies Distribution are looking for Self Employed Owner Driver’s to join our team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers on a self-employed basis, providing a first-class service with our team in Gray's. The contract covers a 7-day operation, packing and delivering in the early hours of the morning.

Earn £1,500 per week, with further earnings potential available.
Location: Unit E4, Oliver Close, West Thurrock, RM20 3EE
Hours: 02:00 - 12:30pm 7 days a week
3.5t vehicle required (transit or similar) with business insurance.
Contractor holder must be able to substitute themselves with a relief driver when unable to operate the route themselves.

SELF EMPLOYED COURIER REQUIREMENTS

The ‘Right To Work’ in the UK with no serious unspent criminal convictions
A full UK/EU/EEA driving licence
3.5-tonne van (Transit or similar)
Goods In Transit Insurance
Public Liability Insurance
Hire and Reward Insurance
No previous disqualifications NI, DD or DR
Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving role
Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
PLEASE NOTE

If you do not currently own or have access to a 3.5-tonne vehicle (Transit or similar) you must be in a financial position to be able to lease or purchase one. You will also need to have all insurances (Goods in Transit, Public Liability & Hire and Reward) in place prior to starting.
