Job Title: A Level PE Teacher 

Location: Haringey, London

Start Date: January 2025

Contract Type: Part-Time

Smart Teachers is seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled A Level PE Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Haringey on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a dedicated educator who is passionate about teaching Physical Education to the next generation of learners. 

Role Details

Timetable:

Week A: 3 days
Week B: 2 afternoons

Key Stage: A Level students only.
Start Date: January 2025.
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent opportunities may be available for the right candidate
Key Stage: A Level students only, focusing on delivering both theoretical and practical elements of the OCR PE syllabus

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to A Level PE students, ensuring all aspects of the curriculum are covered.
Incorporate a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles, including practical demonstrations, group discussions, and independent research.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
Stay up-to-date with changes in the PE curriculum and examination board requirements.
Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in enrichment activities or PE-related initiatives, where possible.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications: A degree in Physical Education or a related field and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
Experience: Proven track record of successfully teaching PE at A Level.
