Bennett & Game are delighted to be partnering a growing, and forward-thinking Accountancy Practice based between Keighley and Skipton, as they recruit for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their growing team. Offering a competitive salary up to £35k, Auto Enrolment pension, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, and more.

This practice are experiencing sustained growth and have recently moved offices, into a larger premises. This is an exciting for an ambitious accountant to further their career in a growing and reputable firm, providing a range of progression opportunities

Semi Senior Accountant Job Overview

Managing a small portfolio of clients taking responsibility for the inflow and processing of information through cloud accounting software
Liaising with clients as and when necessary, by phone and email
Submission of VAT returns
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise own work load and keep to deadlines
Assistance with the MTD department of the practice and growing thereof
Assisting the senior accountants of the practice with processing of entries up to trial balance along with potential production of management accounts and other accounting matters as directed.

Semi Senior Accountant Job Requirements

Minimum AAT Level 3 qualification
Minimum of 2 years accountancy practice experience
Car ownership and driving licence required due to the requirement for travel for collection of records as the need arises
Able to commute into office
Be a team player, with a willingness to assist and a keen attention to detail
No requirement for visa sponsorship

Semi Senior Accountant Salary & Benefits

Salary ranging from £28-36k dependent on experience
23 days holiday plus bank holidays
This is a predominantly office-based position, however, some form of hybrid working can be considered for the right candidate
Auto enrolment to pension scheme, with Now Pensions
Onsite free parking
Working hours 9am-5pm
