Job description

We are looking for a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. You’ll be responsible for making and welding metal parts, mainly using stainless steel, for the food industry. The work includes both light and heavy-duty tasks, such as building platforms, stairs, and conveyors. Some mechanical knowledge is helpful since you’ll also be building parts alongside fabrication.

Responsibilities:

* Make and assemble metal parts according to drawings and specifications.

* Weld using TIG (mainly) and MIG techniques.

* Use power and hand tools to cut, shape, and finish metal.

* Check finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.

* Keep the work area clean and follow all safety rules.

* Work with the team to solve problems and improve fabrication processes.

* Handle materials carefully to avoid damage.

* Some site work may be required, following all site rules.

Skills and Experience:

* Strong TIG welding skills.

* Experience with sheet metal, boxes, and tubes.

* Good mechanical knowledge to understand machinery.

* Comfortable using power and hand tools.

* Basic math skills for accurate measurements and adjustments.

* Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

* Experience in the food industry is a plus but not required.

Working Hours:

* 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

* Friday 1PM finish

* Overtime is paid at time and a half.

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
