80058 - Operational Engineer

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role as an Operational Engineer in UKPN Services? We are hiring a permanent employee to work within our West Sussex (Gatwick Airport) office, reporting to the Lead Operational Engineer. You will be responsible for delivering the engineering activities within the Project team, including new build construction, asset replacement, fault response, testing and commissioning, and maintenance of HV and LV distribution systems. You will also deputise for the Lead Operational Engineer / Project Manager, liaise with clients and contractors, and work with other team members to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.

To be eligible for this role, you need to have a minimum 11kV Senior Authorised Person qualification, with 33kV authorisation preferred, and experience in distribution systems through the range 400V to 33kV. You also need to pass a security clearance, a medical and a DBS reference check, and have a clean driving licence.

The salary for this role is £76,229 and a bonus of 3% plus a range of additional benefits such as 25 days annual leave, pension plan, tenancy loan deposit scheme, tax efficient benefits, occupational health support, and discounted access to sports and social clubs.
