Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Stroud
Hours: Day Shift
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
* Perform both electrical and mechanical maintenance on a range of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
* Diagnose and repair faults, carrying out preventative maintenance as required.
* Install and commission new machinery and equipment when necessary.
* Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including health and safety standards.
* Maintain detailed maintenance records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
* Work closely with the production team to plan and schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
Key Skills of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
* A 17th or 18th Edition qualification is preferred
* Proven experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
* Competence in using maintenance software systems is advantageous.
