Role: Care Assistant
Service: Domiciliary/Homecare
Hours: Full Time and Part Time roles available
Shifts: - Available - 7am to 3.30pm, 1.30pm to 10pm or 2pm to 10.30.
Salary: £12.00 ph (travel and waiting time paid)

Amber Mace are currently recruiting for a Care Assistant to work in the following areas: Amersham, Beaconsfield, Chalfonts, Denham, Gerrards Cross and Farnham Common. As a Care Assistant you will get comprehensive training as standard, this job opportunity is perfect for someone looking to make a real difference.

Positions available for those with experience and those without as my client offers fully paid training for the Care Certificate qualification prior to start work.

My clients are a fantastic and experienced family run domiciliary care company who are expanding and are looking for individuals with a passion for care to join their company.

So if you are an experienced Care Assistant looking for a new role or you are looking to start your career in Health and Social Care then this is the role for you.

The Role of a Care Assistant:

• Supporting and assisting the needs of residents on a day to day basis.
• Working alongside multi-disciplinary teams.
• Promote and maintain a high standard of care
• Helping someone to get up in the morning, get into bed of an evening
• Undertaking personal care (dressing, bathing, washing etc.)
• Administering medication
• Completing paperwork and maintaining records
• Listening and engaging with people

Skills/ Qualifications as a Care Assistant

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Essential
• Have a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards - Desirable
• Having previous experience of working with the elderly - Desirable
• MUST have Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle - Essential
• Living in the local area with the right to work in the UK without sponsorship

Salary & package for a Care Assistant:

• £12.00 per hour
• Full Training given for Care Certificate
• Travel and waiting time paid
• Staff will have comprehensive training in the care of clients with complex needs.
