Description

This is a senior appointment for the Electrical and Electronic Systems department of a leading automotive brand, based in the Midlands of the UK. The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be responsible for the introduction of new and exciting technology to support immediate project requirements.

It is essential that the SME has dSPACE systems expertise along with HIL test experience, to define and lead the development of dSPACE rigs hardware configuration, for bench testing and lab vehicle integration.

Other key responsibilities include:

* Create / tailor models for simulation of dynamic environments on lab vehicles
* Adapt / optimise existing dSPACE electric motor models
* Create / review / modify test specifications and test cases for electrical systems
* Maintain the HIL rig layout and user interface for other users and software developers
* Execute manual tests and convert them to automated tests
* Provide continuous improvement to advance design procedures, best practices, efficiency improvements and test structures

dSPACE / HIL experts will have hardware configuration and integration of electrical components experience, familiarity with version control tools and proficiency in systems test and validation.
